Etimologia

Il nome del genere deriva dal mwgqgreco ("mwggdis" = due e "mwgwarhen" = maschio) e fa riferimento ai fiori con due mwhastami tipici di questo genere.cite-ref-2[2]

Distribuzione e habitat

Il genere ha un mwiwareale disgiunto che si estende in mwjaAsia orientale (Russian Far East to China and Japan) e in mwjqNord America (SE Canada to Central & East U.S.A) .cite-ref-powo-1-1[1]
